The 360-Degree View

The 360-degree view presents a record as a set of cards rather than a list of raw attributes. Each view can include a display image, a title, a subtitle, and additional cards that surface individual attribute values or related records from the data model. For example, an Account record can display its key attributes alongside a table of the Contacts associated with it.

Until a 360-degree view is configured for an entity, its records appear in the standard layout. Once configured, records for that entity render as cards. An unconfigured entity shows a Configure 360° View button at the top of the record list.

Creating the View

1. Click on the Configure 360 View button.

2. On the setup screen, click Configure.

3. In the Add Title Card panel, set the top-level card fields:

  1. Display Image URL - the attribute used as the record's image. Select a string attribute containing an image URL. If the attribute holds an image, that image is displayed.
  2. Title attribute - the attribute used as the card's main heading. Click + Add Another to display more than one attribute in the title.
  3. Subtitle attribute - the attribute displayed beneath the title. Click + Add Another to display more than one attribute in the subtitle.
  4. Additional Display attribute - any additional attributes you want to display on the card. Click + Add Another to add more.

4. Click Confirm and Save.

Now to add cards, click the Add Card button from the top-right corner. You have three options available: Attribute Card, Multi-Attribute Card and Table Card.

Adding an Attribute Card

An attribute card displays the value of a single attribute. To add an Attribute card:

1. In the configured view, click Add Card and select Attribute Card.

2. Choose the Card Title to display and select the Attribute to Display Data from.

3. Optionally select an icon.

4. Click Confirm & Save.

The view will look something like this after adding Attribute Cards.

Edit an Attribute Card

You can edit an Attribute Card by clicking the Kebab menu on the card and then clicking Edit Card.

Edit Values in an Attribute Card

You can update the record's attribute value directly from the card, without navigating to the full record edit screen by clicking the Kebab menu on the card and then clicking Edit Values.

Delete an Attribute Card

You can delete an Attribute Card by clicking the Kebab menu on the card and then clicking Delete.

Adding a Multi-Attribute Card

A multi-attribute card displays several attributes together in a single card, organized into sections, rather than requiring one card per attribute.

This is useful when you want to surface a group of related fields, for example, all of a Contact's address details, or an Account's key business metrics, as one consolidated view instead of scattering them across several single-attribute cards. Attributes can be organized into sections within the card, and the card can span multiple attributes across multiple sections as needed.

To add a Multi-Attribute Card:

1. In the configured view, click Add Card and select Multi-Attribute Card.

2. Optionally, select an Icon for the card.

3. Enter a Card Title.

4. Under Attributes, select the attribute to display.

5. Click + Add Attribute to add more attributes to the card.

6. Click + Add Section to organize attributes into separate sections within the card.

7. Click Confirm & Save.

The view will look something like this after adding Multi-Attribute Card.

Edit a Multi-Attribute Card

You can edit a Multi-Attribute Card by clicking the Kebab menu on the card and then clicking Edit Card.

Edit Values in a Multi-Attribute Card

You can update the record's attribute values directly from the card, without navigating to the full record edit screen, by clicking the Kebab menu on the card and then clicking Edit Values.

Delete a Multi-Attribute Card

You can delete a Multi-Attribute Card by clicking the Kebab menu on the card and then clicking Delete.

Adding a Table Card

A table card displays related records from another entity, for example, the Contacts associated with an Account.

Prerequisite: The entity you select for the table must have a true reference pointing to the entity you're building the view on. A true reference is a Reference-type attribute that resolves to another Syncari entity (for example, the Contact entity's AccountId attribute resolving to the Account entity). Only entities with a resolved reference appear in the entity list.

1. In the configured view, click Add Card and select Table Card.

2. Optionally, select an Icon.

3. Enter a Card Title for the card.

4. Under Select Entity, choose the related entity to display, for example, Contact.

5. Under Filter Condition, set a condition to control which related records appear (for example, Business Phone [Phone] — Is Not Empty).

6. Set the record management options for the table:

  • Manage Entity Records - allow users to create, edit, and delete records in the related entity directly from this card, instead of only through Data Studio. When enabled, a Create Record option becomes available on the table; the reference to the parent record is set automatically, so any record created here is automatically associated with the parent record. Enabled by default.
  • Associate Records - allow users to associate existing records from the related entity that aren't currently linked to this record. When enabled, a Manage Associations option becomes available on the table. Enabled by default.
  • Restrict records - available only when Associate Records is enabled. Set a separate condition to mark matching records as Not Available for association, regardless of whether they match the Filter Condition set. Typically used to enforce a business rule independent of the table's display filter.

7. Click Confirm & Save.

The view will look something like this after adding a Table Card.

Edit a Table Card

You can Edit a table card by clicking the Kebab menu on the card and then clicking Edit Card.

Delete a Table Card

You can Delete a table card by clicking the Kebab menu on the card and then clicking Delete.

Configure Table Columns

You can adjust the table columns using the Configure Table Columns option.

This allows you to change the order of the columns, show/hide all columns.

Creating a New Record in the Table

You can also create a new record by clicking the Create New Record option.

Now add the details and click Create Now.

Manage Associations

If Associate Records is enabled, click Manage Associations on the table card to link existing records.

In the Manage Associations with "[Record Name]" panel, select the checkbox next to each record you want to associate, then click Update Associations at the bottom of the panel to save your changes.

Field Visibility

Administrators can control which fields are available in Business Studio. Any attribute can be hidden from Business Studio independent of its read-only or writable status. A hidden attribute can still be surfaced through a card, allowing administrators to determine which values are displayed to business users.

To hide an attribute in Business studio:

1. In Schema Studio, go to your selected entity and then click Attributes.

2. Select the attribute you want to hide and then click Edit Attribute.

3. Then select the Hide in Business Studio option.

4. Click Update Now.
