Freshsales Setup

The Freshsales Synapse enables data synchronization between Freshsales objects and Syncari entities using the Freshsales API. After the Synapse is Authenticated, a user can Activate the Freshsales Synapse, which enables Syncari to replicate the schema of your Freshsales and make it available within the Unified Data Model. Using the Sync Studio, a user can map Freshsales objects to Syncari entities, and Freshales fields to Syncari fields.

Freshsales Setup

You will need the following information from the Administrator of your Freshsales subscription:

  • API Key
  • Endpoint URL (see your web browser address bar when logged into Freshsales for your domain)
    If your domain ends with you will set your Endpoint URL to the domain you see in the browser address bar. 
    If your domain ends with you will need to set the Endpoint URL to (this is just an example, use the domain you see in the address bar)

Login to Freshsales and follow these steps in Freshsales to prepare the integration between Freshsales and Syncari:

  1. Click Profile
  2. Click Settingsmceclip0.png
  3. Click API Settings
  4. Locate your API Key and Click Copymceclip1.png


Nice! You are now ready to configure your Freshsales Synapse in Syncari.


Synapse Setup

Step 1: Start by logging in to your Syncari subscription

  1. Navigate to Synapses
  2. Find Freshsales in the Synapse Library
  3. Drag the Freshsales Synapse to the canvas


Step 2: Configure your Synapse parameters

  1. Enter [Synapse Name]
  2. Enter [Endpoint URL] 
  3. Click Next


Step 3: Authenticate your Synapse:

  1. Enter [API Key]
  2. Click "Authenticate"


Step 4: Activate your Synapse

  1. Click "Next"
  2. Click "Make Synapse Active"
  3. Click "Close"


Congratulations! You have completed the setup of Freshsales. 

If you receive any errors message after clicking Authenticate, confirm each of the parameters in the previous steps are configured properly. If the error persists, contact one of our Onboarding and Support team members.
