The Sage Intacct Synapse enables data synchronization between Sage Intacct objects and Syncari entities using the Sage Intacct API. After the Synapse is Authenticated, a user can Activate the Sage Intacct Synapse, which enables Syncari to replicate the schema of Sage Intacct and make it available within the Unified Data Model. Using the Sync Studio, a user can map Sage Intacct objects to Syncari entities, and Sage Intacct fields to Syncari fields. To accelerate the setup and configuration of these pipelines, Syncari provides a default mapping for the standard objects and fields in Sage Intacct.
If your Sage security requires you to allow an IP you can find that here.
Requirements & Reference
-
Administrator permissions to access Sage Intacct.
-
Web Services User and Permissions & Roles.
- You'll need a "Web Services Sender ID", which is an additional credential you'll need to request from your Sage Intacct account representative
-
We recommend creating a new Web Services user for the Syncari integration. See the Sage Intacct help for more information.
Supported Synapse Capabilities
-
Schema discovery
- Syncari's Sage Intacct synapse supports these Sage Intacct objects:
Sage Intacct Setup
To authenticate with the Sage Intacct synapse, you’ll need the Company ID, User ID, Sender ID (this will be "SyncariMPP") and password of the Syncari user or Web Services User. Keep this information handy. You'll need it to configure the Sage Intacct Synapse in Syncari.
To find the Company ID, open the Company Information page on Sage Intacct.
Sender ID
A Web Services user doesn’t provide access to Web Services itself. Rather, a Web Services user is paired with a Web Services Sender ID, which is an additional credential that lets you send requests to a Web Services endpoint. Sender ID is SyncariMPP for Syncari.
In addition, the administrator for the target company must:
- Enable the Web Services subscription using Company > Admin > Subscriptions.
- Authorize your Web Services sender ID for Syncari. Sender ID is SyncariMPP
- Create your user ID. Typically, this will be a Web Services user account, which does not include UI access (see Web Services users in the Sage Intacct product help).
Configure the Sage Intacct Synapse in Syncari
In the previous section, you identified the Company ID, User ID, and password of the Syncari user for Sage Intacct. Now, you can connect the Sage Intacct synapse in Syncari:
-
In Syncari, open Synapse Studio.
-
Find Sage Intacct in the Synapse Library, and drag it to the canvas.
-
Complete the information in the Configure step:
-
Synapse Name—Enter your own custom name for the synapse.
Note: Stick to letters and numbers. The name must begin with a letter. The only special characters we allow are spaces, hyphens (-), and underscores (_). -
Company ID—Enter the Company ID of the Syncari user for Sage Intacct.
-
Optional: The Sync Rate Limit affects downstream syncs with the synapse. Turn on the Sync Rate Limit if needed to limit the sync rate for updates. You can edit this configuration later if you find you need to manage your downstream syncs.

-
Enter the User ID and Password of the Syncari user for Sage Intacct, and then click Authenticate.
-
Click Next.
-
Select Make Synapse Active.
Other options include:-
Map Entities in Sync Studio—Syncari takes you to Sync Studio to map the entities before activating the Synapse.
-
Activate and Create Pipelines—We don't recommend using this option except in specific use cases (e.g., this is your first synapse, and you want your schema to match that of the synapse). For synapses with default mappings, Syncari updates the Sync Studio canvas and creates draft pipelines for the Syncari Unified Data Model. Contact one of our Onboarding and Support team members before using this option.
