Syncari provides users with three ways to access unified data:

  • Data Studio - A visual interface for exploring your unified data within Syncari.
  • Data Store - A SQL-based method for querying your unified data.
  • REST API - A programmatic way to interact with your unified data.

In this article, we’ll focus on Data Store and explain how data is made available.

As the pipeline transforms data, unified records are copied into Syncari’s Data Store, which is powered by PostgreSQL. This feature is not enabled by default. To activate Data Store for your instance, simply turn it ON in the Settings area.

Once enabled, the published pipeline will continuously push data into the Data Store. Additionally, all historical data processed by Syncari will be automatically copied over.

With your credentials, you can now connect to the Syncari Data Store using BI tools like Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Power BI.

  • datastore2.syncari.com provides unencrypted data access.
  • datastore3.syncari.com supports encrypted data access via SSL. The encrypted endpoint uses server-side certificates but does not yet support client certificates.

Deactivating Data Store will stop data copy from the pipelines. All data that was written prior to deactivation will be deleted.

NOTE : Insights (all reporting) is powered by Data Store. So deactivating Data Store impacts all your dashboards in Insights.
