The Oracle PIM Synapse enables data synchronisation between Oracle PIM standard objects and Syncari entities using the Oracle API. After the Synapse is Authenticated, you can Activate it, which enables Syncari to replicate the Oracle PIM schema and make it available within the Unified Data Model.
Using Pipeline Studio, you can map Oracle PIM Standard objects to Syncari entities, and Oracle PIM attributes to Syncari attributes.

Pre-requisites
In Oracle PIM
- Copy the domain of your oracle fusion cloud url.
In Syncari
Let's get started! First, navigate to the Synapses section, find and drag the Oracle PIM Synapse onto the canvas.
Enter a Synapse Name, the Endpoint URL you copied in a previous step.
Enter the Item Class values if required. This is comma separated value and will be applied as filters for the integration and only the filtered records will be managed.
Enter the Organization Code you want to manage. This is a mandatory attribute. Only the items of this organization will be managed. Click Next to continue.
Enter your User Name, Password and click Authenticate.
After successful authentication, click on Next
Go ahead and Make Synapse Active.
Once activated, go ahead and Close the Synapse setup modal.
Congratulations and well done!
Activating the Synapse does not begin any kind of data transfer. We do however grab a copy of the Oracle PIM Schema for the objects we currently support.
